Position Description
Teknita is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with proven expertise in managing complex technology infrastructure and facilities projects. The ideal candidate will excel in project management practices, including initiation, planning, execution, and successful closure of projects, meeting specific success criteria.
The role involves developing project scopes, defining guidelines, obtaining necessary approvals, and coordinating resources to ensure project success. The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing technology infrastructure projects, with a focus on gathering requirements for infrastructure systems (e.g., network, audiovisual, servers, workstations, biomedical equipment) and coordinating their design and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously within facilities and technology infrastructure domains.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with business and IT sponsors to secure project approvals and define success metrics.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress.
- Facilitate design and installation of infrastructure systems, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and organizational goals.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) leading complex projects, preferably within facilities and technology infrastructure domains.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to coordinate diverse teams and drive project outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of infrastructure systems, including network, audiovisual, server, workstation, and biomedical equipment.
Certifications & Educational Requirements:
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
