Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee a critical third-party
systems migration project. This role requires a strong background in managing data conversion, application migration, and systems integration. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in healthcare IT and a deep understanding of complex system transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:
o Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
o Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

2. Data Conversion and Integration:
o Coordinate the migration and integration of data and applications from legacy systems to the target environment.
o Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance during all stages of the migration.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements and align on project objectives.
o Act as a primary liaison between stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.

4. Risk Management:
o Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

5. Vendor Management:
o Oversee vendor activities, including performance monitoring, and contract compliance.
o Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.

Qualifications:

Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
o PMP certification is required. Scrum Master certifications is a plus.

Experience:
o Over 10 years of project and product management experience in healthcare IT.
o Experience in data migration, and system integrations due to mergers/acquisitions.
o Successful execution of large-scale projects in diverse healthcare environments, such as hospitals and clinics.
o Expertise in agile methodologies and system development lifecycle (SDLC)
processes.

Technical Skills:
o Proficient in tools such as SharePoint, and Microsoft Project Plan.
o Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), data interfaces (HL7), and healthcare-specific applications like EHR, PACS, and Lab systems.

Key Competencies:

o Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across geographically distributed locations.
