Mason Pelt, referring to this term, pointed out that “growth hacking involves both optimization and generating potential customers.” He also added that the true growth hacker’s task must be to take care of maintaining all existing customers.

Ryan Holiday had a significant impact on popularizing the concept of growth hacking. He wrote a book called “Growth Hacker Marketing.” In his book, the author wrote that growth hacking is a “business strategy that starts with rejecting the principles of traditional marketing and replacing them with testable, trackable, and scalable customer acquisition techniques.” Growth hackers’ earnings are very high due to the increasing demand for their work.
